The traditional lithium battery uses graphite and lithium metal oxide (Lithium Metal Oxide) as the cathode and anode, because these two materials have low power storage. The car’s battery storage capacity does not add much space.
Therefore, the Yongbang New Energy Research Team decided to use a brand-new material to make the cathode and anode of the battery, using silicon and sulfur.
